Is this the continuation of the separation of Enroute from Aeroplan? First the name, now the points.
Lots of questions here that the FAQ doesn't answer yet.

I guess we'll have to do the math.
Post Script: I called DC and was told a Club Rewards option has been available since 2000, it costs $97 to attach this to your account. They were a bit vague on the details so I'm not sure of the value. At a quick glance, I don't know why you'd want to pay $97 for the same mileage accumulation you're already getting, perhaps the 'studio of fabulous prizes' has some better offers to compete with the newly devalued/debauched Aeroplan miles .
Anyway, it's all news to me...

I have been a Club Rewards member since late 1999. The cost is $85/yr (20 more then Aeroplan card) and I took the offer because at that time they offered 12,000 points for the Diners Club Enroute Club Rewards Card and not for the Aeroplan only card. The rewards catalog has a lot a neat stuff in it but redemption values on some of the items seem a bit high
