Aeroplan Super Elite Desk

A step up for customer service, albeit it a small one. The emails just used to disappear into the void until you heard back from someone...

Never got this... it must be something new they implemented since last week.

I wonder how you can call collect to them since you never get a live person right away.

Didn't get it Saturday or Sunday...got it today.

Empress,

The SE collect number's on the back of your card - works fine.

..don't tell me you actually wait the 5-15 mins on the phone in HKG for AC HKG to answer ?? http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/smile.gif

The Elite card also lists toll free international numbers on the back of the card. I had no trouble using it over the summer from Seoul.

Should be in this form: dial access code, then 800-XXXX-XXXX.

Oh no... i use that collect number on that little card that came with the membership package. I tried talking to the HKG CTO over the phone once and they freaked me out so i never bother calling them again. (They do waive the change fee for me though on H tickets!) Last time they wanted me to "fax" them a copy of my ticket and wait 3 - 5 days before telling me whether i could make a change on my ticket. I called the SE desk from HKG, got it changed in 5 mins! http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/wink.gif

I was just saying since the SE desk said you can call them collect if the country is not listed, who would be there to accept the call?

When you call Aeroplan Marketing answers and then transfers you to res and if it is after 23h00 they will transfer you to St. John

I'll use the Canada Direct operator and ask them to stay on the line since the recording kicks in. I advise the operator that I'm calling AC and please advise that it is SuperElite member calling and they will accept the call. Sometimes, while the operator is still on the line, you will be asked your Aeroplan number, AC will quickly verify it and accept the call.

Cheers
