My last flight on AC they gave out free ear phones due to the delay. The delay was only about 20 minutes. It was a nice gesture, but didn't do it for the 90% plus that bring their own headphones.

The frustrating thing is that AC is fully aware that the inbound a/c is late, yet they still don't usually post a revised departure time.

I would actually pay 10% more if AC could guarantee an on time departure, and for every 30 minutes they are delayed they give me 10% of the fare back.

8 of the 16 flights from YVR-YYZ today that have already departed YVR arrived at least 15 minutes late. Going the other way they are 8 for 18 of flights that have already departed.

Sounds about right for their previously published 54.8% statistic.

On time performance recently greatly affected by weather in east coast (thunderstorm over YYZ and hurricane) and Asia (typhoon).
