What I don't understand is why econo class passengers are allowed to use any washroom in the first place.

You haven't flown LH, have you?

With an onboard BP scanner to halt the flow for J pax.
For Y pax, they should also have a CC acceptor that, with $5, would allow Y pax to use it.

I have noticed that the FA will generally not stop Y passengers from using the J loo but will not let them line up for it. If they have to line up, they are asked to return to their own cabin.

I'm a guy so an empty Dasani bottle will work fine but for the ladies it but might a bit harder.

Perhaps they should have more bathrooms on the a/c. 2 lavs for 132 pax on a 320 is not acceptable. I sure hope they don't fly those birds when only 1 Y lav is operational

I had eUpgrades left over last year, and probably will this year as well.

So here's an idea: I'll give them one eUpgrade point every time I use the J washroom, and one more if I am allowed to put a bag in J when things get tight above the cheap seats. Three eUpgrade points gets me the J meal.

On second thought, better not suggest this, they might take me seriously. And Ken Hamer is better at the humour anyway.

Great idea! I'll give 5 eUpgrades if I don't make Aerolotto, but get J class meal service. (My eUs expire in any case!)
