Not sure it is worthwhile giving my personal info to any site involved in home selling. Free evaluations--probably from software.

Any realtor will give you a "free evaluation". It is the pestering you after that that I don't like.

How do you get this to work? It keeps saying no information for the address

its like if you saw a nickel on the ground, would you pick it up, or say not worth the effort :p

It's for Canadians...you profile suggests you might be using a US address.

Same here. I tried several addresses from mls.ca and can't get one to work.

It took all my information but did not say at which screen it would award the miles. I didn't bother going to the "refer to an agent" button.

Ditto. It's not clear what you need to do, beyond getting to the 2nd (successfully valuated) page.

Here's all that I could find related to the 100 AP mile:
At the bottom of the initial page:
* Each Aeroplan number is eligible for (1) bonus of 100 Aeroplan Miles for successfully completing an AeroValue valuation.

In the T&Cs:
You must be a resident of Canada to use the Site, and in order to receive Aeroplan Miles, you must also be an Aeroplan Member.

At the bottom of the successful valuation page (where you get the option to "get an agent"):
Some areas (rural and some pockets in urban areas) may not have enough data to calculate a reliable estimate. However, you can still understand the average property prices and trends in these areas and will still be eligible for the 100 bonus Aeroplan Miles.

Whatever...was hoping to use this to keep my family members' AP accounts active for another year.

When are points credited?

used an address on the MLS for sale...

asking price is: 879,000...

their value was $798,717-$1,100,765

i sort of find the upper end a little bit of a joke since even 879 is sort of inflated and you are paying for the people's renovation...therefore, i find it hard to understand how this valuation can be even close...likely intentionally inflated to make people think they should sell...i suspect the low range is actually what they think your property is worth.

Uh... the idea is get people to LIST their properties with the agents, so they inflate the prices :)
