Booking Classes on TAP Air Portugal
Hello all,
I am an AP member (AC*E) and have never flown TP before. Today I went to book a flight LGW->FNC, but I cannot find anywhere on the website up until the final confirm page where it tells me the booking class. As I am going to be tight on my 50,000 this year due to an injury & reduced travel at work, I need all the miles I can get, all while still booking the "cheapest" fare my company dictates. Any idea how I can tell what fare basis I am booing into? The AP site shows 10%, 50% and 100% fare codes. I assume I won't be in the 100% bucket, but 50 would be better than 10. Thanks! UK_Canuck |
I assume when you say TP you mean Tango Plus?
Booking classes are M/U/H/Q/V/W/S/K/L/T. But if you book on AC.com, you will see if you are booking Tango + or not. Not sure what you mean by 10,50,100% fare code.... Do you mean 25%, 50%, 100% status miles? Just to go AP.com and click under earn miles -> travel -> flights and select Air Canada for all the juicy details. |

In this case TP most likely means TAP Air Portugal since AC does not fly from LGW to FNC.

Yes, TP = TAP.
Sorry, didn't mean to be confusing. That's why when possible (assume the price is the same) I book w/ my travel agent and specify the non codeshare flight #. |
where/how are you booking the flight? sites like expedia allow you to see the fare rules and hence the fare class before confirming your booking
seems like the direct flights book into W/S class and should earn 50% miles Code:
