Member since January 10, 1986. Number 155 xxx xxx.
I also remember having the red en Route credit card then getting upgraded to the gold card which I believe provided access to the MLL. When it got killed it became Diners Club Maple Leaf Club card. Like everyone else I traveled multiple airlines including CP never thinking about the million miles club. I've been mostly elite but still only have 815,000 miles.

I'm 397 xxx xxx, joined Errorplan when AC took over CP.
"You have been a valued Aeroplan Member since: January 01, 2001"
(was it that recent that CP folded?)
I miss my old non-elite card. I think it was white with a red maple leaf? Much better than that garish orange thing that I received once when I was a non-elite.
The numbers are definitely non-sequential. Last year, in order to e-up my parents, I registered AP numbers for them within a few minutes of each other. Dad is 785 xxx xxx and mom is 544 xxx xxx

I joined Oct 1984, got 331 XXX XXX. There was a $50 application fee, I didn't bother sending the fee with the application and got my card anyway.
I have a strange suspicion that the first 3 digits encode something about you.
