Do the FA's Recognize Us?

Now, almost a year after I've been recognized as a million-miler, I'm wondering if this status warrants any sort of flag in the AC passenger database. Specifically, can the flight attendants aboard distinguish between an E and a MM E? I think not but I'm curious as to what others have found.

I seem to recall other MMers saying that their BP had the MM status included, so IŽd think the passenger manifest has the same info.

On UA your status is noted. I was curious about the same thing and asked the FA. She showed me the seating chart which carried me as "1K MM". Presume AC is the same. You can always ask.

MM and the other Top Tier statuses turn up on the printed manifests.

Whether that translates into recognition is another thing.

I have seen a FA go up to a Gentleman and welcome him on board as "the MM member" I can't remember the exact words but it was to the effect of there aren't to many of you around.

Lady seated behind me on a recent flight received the same treatment .... warmly greeted by the SD, assisted with getting her bag into the overhead bin, and served first with each meal and drink service. Welcome aboard announcement clearly welcomed "elite, super elite and our million-mile members."

It was a nice touch that I look forward to ..... one day.

Some do. Some don't. I would say they do anywhere between 30 to 50% of the time.

In my experience so far, 0% of the time - and I always smile at FA's too :)

I should add that my experience is with SE status and sitting in front. Mix overseas, domestic and US.

I've had a few FA's recognize me, nothing to do with my status.....I fly the same route regularly
