The promo doesn't allow OP to transfer 7 times to get the bonus. So it would have worked out to an average of 3.6% bonus roughly at 690,000 miles transferred..
Transfer 7 times... or to an account you trust , like wife's? 25 000 extra miles is still good if all else fails. What can he do now?

Can't do anything now, but to make note for next year's promo which this promo has been offered with different thresholds and bonuses for the past 3 years..

I had the 3.6% number spat out, just to make it look like its' not a big deal..:-:

just redeem your miles for RTW F/J awards and avoid surcharges.

I burned about 700k during the recent J for Y price (although none were true RTW awards).

If you actually have the time for the vacations, 3 stop RTW's are an amazingly good value, even with surcharges.
