e-upgrade list question
 

I'd like to add 2 people to my e-upgrade list ending Feb 2012.

When I went to my e-upgrade section to add their names it said up until Feb 2013. I'd like to keep my 2013 list free since they will be flying before the end of Feb 2012.

Is there a way to add somebody now if you have already made your 2013 elite choices ?

I'm curious to know this too. A friend of mine has a bunch of eUpgrades that will expire without being used and has offered to let me use some of them on an upcoming flight. But I don't want to mess up his nominee slots for 2012.

Just read this post and went to my account and notice all my 2011 Nominee had been removed as well.

+1 this is very annoying.

Works both ways though.

I had a relative who visited from Europe on my list. Whom I won't need to upgrade again in the foreseeable future. I can now replace her on my list, still using old credits.

BTW, one thing which is a bit unnice is about the eCredits you get for reaching 100k. If you reach 100k early, these go pop on Feb 29. However people who fly less and reach the cutoff late in the year get to keep them.

Ends up as an incentive not to fly AC and/or credit your miles to a different account and/or to delay all discrertionary traveling when you get close to 100k. Is that really something AC wants to incentive?

It's not official at all

The official expiration date for the nominee list is Feb.29.12

Currently when you add someone to your list it also warns you that it will expire Feb.28.13 and not on Dec.31.12

So I guess this is an IT issue which will need to be fixed by AC

Just called the SE desk to ask about this. They added my nominees back and lodged a report with AE to ensure that the list is cleared on Feb 29th. I'll definitely be watching and checking when that date rolls around.

Just logged into my account and seems like they have fixed the problem. My 2011 nominees are back with an expiry date of 29 Feb 2012.

I wrote today to ask about this and ACTT management confirmed that it was an IT error and would be fixed ASAP. It appears they have now addressed the issue as my nominees are now back.

anyone benefit from the glitch? if you replaced a nominee did the old one come back or the new one? :D

Great news that any nominees added now will expire the end of Feb 2012.
