I had my wife transfer 5900 amex points on one transaction, and 7,500 for another..
The first bonus sweep was 1,000 miles, and second bonus sweep was 1,000 miles as the cumulative surpassed the 10,000 mile threshold for a 2,000 mile bonus..

Concur.. the way the bonus miles is determined is cumulative..

I wonder how its all going to be sorted out?
I never understood the sequence of bonus points awarded.. but as long as they add up to the promo, I'm ok..

I have lots of MR points but they took the 100k and about a week later reversed them again. My AP points remained plus bonus.

Anyone care to guess the likelihood of this promotion being repeated this year? I have accumulated more points to convert and I'm wondering whether I should pull the trigger now or wait for another conversion bonus...

IIRC, there have been AE conversion promos happening the last several years in different formats.. Generally you get a chance to get the 25% bonus.. this year most levels were 20% bonus on conversion with an opportunity to convert for 25% bonus if transferring 100K points.

sorry for the confusion, i did it during that period, but i have not received 25k bonus, so my point is does 50K amex+50k fia qualify for the 25k bonus?

Did you got any bonus miles at all? It bonus is calculated per partner and not the total you transfer among all partners.
