Connection Through Munich

Hi all,

Long time lurker, rare poster. Hopefully you guys can help!

My sister is flying YYZ-MUC on a reward ticket. (The reward ticket is YYZ-MUC (J), MUC-BKK(F), PVG-YYZ(J))

She arrives in MUC at 10:05 in the morning. She is visiting a friend in Graz, so I booked a flight from MUC to GRZ on lufthansa.com.

My question: Her flight to GRZ departs at 11:15. Is there a way for her to get the boarding pass printed in YYZ (or will there be enough time for her to get the boarding pass printed out for her in Munich?)

What should she do? Did I screw up?

Thanks in advance for your help.

You should be able to get the boarding pass printed 23 hours in advance on lufthansa.com. So this could be done before you go to Pearson for the flight to MUC.

OLCI to the rescue! For reasons that are too boring to be mentioned here I often book one ticket SEA to LHR on AC and a separate ticket out of LHR to places such ZRH or ARN on Swiss or SAS. Before I leave home in the morning I will OLCI and get my boarding pass out of LHR printed. Worked like charm every time!

Is she going to need to get her luggage? That will definitely be a problem if she has to get her lugagge and then check it again for the MUC-Graz flight. Or is this a >24hrs stopover?

She should be able to get her luggage checked through to her final destination.
