Old logos on AC planes

AC employees are saying that by June, the logos of CP Air, Transair, EPA, Trans Canada Airlines, Wardair, Nordair, and Pacific Western will be on 8 A320's near the tail.

They already have one painted up as a Trans Canada Airlines plane.

No CAI logos, though?

I have been for a spin on this A319 a couple of times - a kewl aeroplane. I had sorta hoped to find something "vintage/retro" looking with the cabin interior! http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/smile.gif

StuMcIlwain: I think what they are doing is entirely different from what they did to that A319.

Here's the logos that they are doing:

- Spirit of Canadian Pacific (with winged goose logo)
- Spirit of Nordair (white N on blue tail logo)
- Sprirt of TransAir Limited
- Spirit of Wardair (Half maple leaf in front of word Wardair)
- Spirit of Canadian Airlines (goose logo) http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/smile.gif http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/smile.gif http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/smile.gif
- Spirit of Pacific Western
- Spirit of Eastern Provincial (blue tail logo)
- Spirit of Trans Canada Airlines (gold/orange maple leaf in circle)

8 A320's with decals located near the aircraft tail. All eight aircraft completed six weeks from now.

I really think they should use the $$ on some more useful places!

Who cares what the plane looks like on the outside. It's what's inside that counts. I vote $$$ be spent on service upgrades and cabine refurbishments.

What a long way to come to form the Air Canada today. I wonder why not AC do it in the current Star Alliance style, all the stickers all around the plane. http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/smile.gif
