MPM test: YVR-BKK in F in Winter?

Here is a test for you MPM and Aeroplan points using geniuses:

Can you show me a route from YVR to BKK in winter (Jan.) within MPM?
(Route only, you don't have to find space available)
Following criteria apply:
1. F class ONLY over the Pacific. (but not necessarily all the way to BKK).
2. No SQ (space never available).
3. Outbound only. (Returning via Europe, already fixed.)

Looking for Innovation!

Thanks.

No. That is 9408 and MPM5 PA is 9242.

However it could be a published route by NH/UA?

YVR-SEA/SFO-NRT-BKK is within MPM5.

You could also check the following routes which may have a published routing

(YVR)-SEA/LAX/SFO-ICN-BKK
(YVR)-SEA/LAX/SFO-HKG-BKK

At least on May 12th when I am flying that route, UA 891 LAX-NRT does not get into NRT in time to connect to the TG 777 with the F suites.

This does not tell me which F * alliance flies this route. Also no sense to going south to LAX then north to SFO?

The easiest F award to find over the Pacific (other than UA) is OZ out of LAX. Unfortunately it appears to be over MPM from YVR. However if you want to start from YYC you can route through LAX and fly YYC-LAX-ICN-BKK or YYC-LAX-ICN-HKG-BKK. You could also route through NRT but NH F is very hard to find 2 award seats on.

You could also ask the AE agent if OZ has a published routing from YVR via LAX to BKK.

You are beginning to see my problem. The OZ option is not permitted, I have been refused this before by AE.
Still no solution to my original problem, and why is the MPM over the Pacific, so much less than over the Atlantic?

Not sure the rest of your trip is but you can always use SIN as your destination instead of BKK. So something like YVR-LAX-ICN-SIN-BKK-...-YVR should work; SIN would be the destination and BKK is the stopover point. MPM on YVR-SIN is 9556 and YVR-LAX-ICN-SIN is within 5% of MPM so it should be allowable. (You'll need to double check with AE)

It's whit in less than 2% of the MPM, I think it should be acceptable.

If you're within 5% of the MPM you're fine, but I was quoting the MPM+5 so the route is already beyond that and AC doesn't let you pay for extra MPM.

OZ does have a published routing for YVR-BKK. The fare basis to which it applies is MKEO and the permitted routings are:

YVR-LAX/SFO/SEA-ICN-BKK; or
YVR-LAX/SFO/SEA-ICN-HKG-BKK

Obviously F is only available out of LAX on the flight operated by 744 metal but this routing should be useable and I would push AE over it as there is a published pouting that is possible with a revenue fare.

Ah, you're so right. On second look, it's 7% over...

I think OP should be thinking of redeeming/paying for a short haul positioning flight to SFO/LAX and start from there?

What about get to SFO then United F to Narita then TG F to BKK? Or you could do what we just did and do the same ocean there and back. Say BKK-FRA-YYC-YVR. Do you care that you go around the world or do you just want great F experiences? According to the great circle mapper our trip adds up to 23536 miles.

What is your homeward itinerary?
