New Select China Pass will not work!!!
The new pass saves up to 25% but I don't think people will buy it.
If the following terms are changed, even the pass price increase 10%, I am sure more people will buy it:
1. Bookings are subject to availability of Leisure/T+ (W or higher booking class).
2. Upgrades are permitted.
For the FFs using pass, the flexibility and availability of the pass is much more improtant than the price!!
I really enjoyed the benifits of the pass in 2008!!!

I think that's one of his points. Although writing is not terribly transparent, what I read him saying is that until these suggested changes are made to the pass in question, the pass has no value to him.

Another Problem.
Flight Passes were originally sold as being able to be used for last minute travel. Most China flights that have G availability are far in the future on the non-stops from YYZ.

there were passes available in China with higher upgradeable fares (not available in Canada). There was another thread on this.
From the Canadian side, I was the only one who ever purchased a V class Asia pass a few years ago when it was first introduced. They quickly dropped it to a non-upgradeable class which gave me grief for the time I had my "unique" pass.
