AC back to normal
Just came off the ICN-YVR flight--now consider that my views are quite jaded as I had just done two successive flights on SQ before getting on AC-- but I found the service efficient but cold and impersonal (Thales was off for a little while and had to be reset). Also got downgraded to AC Basic on the BP!! So all in all we are back to normal. (maybe if I had been on Egypt air before AC my views would have been different!!)

That's funny, last week I did SQ ICN-SFO, then AC SFO-YYZ.
My original ( SQ issued) BP for the AC flight had AC *G notation, but AC staff in SFO re-issued the BP when I re-checked my luggage, and it had the AC-A notation. I brought it back to her, she did something in the computer, and re-issued it again with the usual SE notation. |
LOL i have given up years ago of AC being in any comparison to SQ:confused:
However AC does try to compete with American airlines and I guess its doing a good job of that. Now AC FF program has given up trying to compete with American airlines, they seem to think the border lets them live in a cocoon. |
Don't feed the troll ...

I thought the thread title meant that all those that abandoned:rolleyes: AC/AE had returned:D
I have had consistently very good service on all my 2011 AC flights (13 to date)^ |

My SQ flight to SIN in F was actually a bit disappointing, satay and no caviar...food decent but not whatbi remember, Krug fantastic as always. Not sure what happened to their pjs. Followed by a three hr business class seat on SQ had me almost missing AC! |

I find trolls are like bedbugs, they only need to be fed once every 6 months to continue their reign of terror. Also damn near impossible to get rid of... |
The food was actually quite good-- I have noticed the improvement over the last couple of years.

If it is ICN-SIN, then definately no as SQ doesn't operate the A380s on any of the ICN flights. Currently among intra Asia flights, only HKG-SIN vv and NRT-SIN vv see the A380 with the suite cabin.
Have not had the pleasure of the 380 yet. |

I flew YVR to ICN last week, and I was thinking that the food (albeit a tad under done) was so much better than the AC long haul domestic flights. They also seem to have brought back grand marnier which I sometimes need...and subsequently slept almost to landing.
