MHD to SFO?

I need to be in SFO for Apr 14 - Apr 16 and then leave for YYZ-HKG, as YYZ-HKG sold out in J on Apr 17 and no C on Apr 18, so I will probably leave on Apr 19 and will have time to do a MHD.

So is a MHD to SFO possible? http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/smile.gif

Absolutely! Depends where your starting point is. YYZ is $1348 in F class on UA which I think will mean a 50% COS bonus (counting for status) on most (all?) flights. It is the simplest in terms of routing but may not garner the most base miles (ie best would be YOW-YVR-SFO-MEX-CUN). That may be a moot point with the 50% vs 25% COS bonus. You would have to work it out in detail. UA only offers business class on flights to/from Mexico but all the US flights definitely qualify for 50%. Ken, what is your experience with an F ticket but J seating?

YYZ-CUN is $6 cheaper (but booked in C) on UA.

YOW-CUN is $1290 in J on MX ticket plus about $70 fees.

The YOW-AC-SFO allows YOW-YVR-SFO on AC.

Thanks BB... http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/smile.gif

I need to figure out what flights would work and it'll probably be time consuming. Will attempt to do that when i return home at the end of the month and i'll have more time.
