There you go again, A Flygirl, the voice of reason. http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/smile.gif
Not everyone who has met me thinks I'm a wonderful person Let's drop it, okay? Clearly there's strong opposition to this idea. [This message has been edited by After Burner (edited 03-06-2001).] |
Not a good idea...
If you experienced a problem that deserves attention from AC, why don't you complain immediately and instead have to see whether others have experienced problems from the same agent before proceding with the complain? By doing this, you are creating a potential that we will form a certain opinion against a certain agent before we give them a chance as soon as we notice that they have one of the "bad" numbers. Last week when I wrote to the SE desk about my upgrade incident, i included the agent number in the letter to them and yesterday when they call me, they said they would look into it and let the agent know the appropiate rules. Whether they do it or not, I did my part of letting them know that one of their employees were wrong on the rules. It's true if I get the same agent again in the same situation and if she makes the same mistake, i would be mad but I would not assume that she will before I deal with her again. What this proposal seems to do is to ask us to assume certain agent are forever bad if anyone of us here got bad service from them. |
During a recent trip YVR-YYZ I encountered a situation with a lost bag. In discussion with the delayed baggage hotline, it became apparent that my bag was lost because the yvr agent put four tags on three bags and hence left one untagged. When I commented that the check in agent had an attitude and this undoubtably contributed to the error, I was told that there was no way to track down the agent. Now I find out through this thread that there is. Will Air Canada follow up on the delayed baggage file themselves or do they just misplace too many bags to follow up on every one? If they do not follow up It might make sent to send a complaint letter refering to the agent number on the boarding pass. Any suggestions?
