Jan named Gramophone Magazine Young Artist of the Year
http://www.gramophone.co.uk/awards/2...st-of-the-year
"In presenting this superb young player with our Young Artist of the Year Award, we’re turning the spotlight on a musician with a golden future ahead of him. He’s not in need of a record contract but we hope that his talent is allowed to unfold naturally and true to his musical instincts; his is a gift too rare to be squandered."
Congratulations, Jan, and continue to keep true to yourself - and don't desert FT!

Just finished watching the Louvre recital - it was worth getting up at 03:30 California time to hear this amazing artist perform in real time.
Check medici.tv beginning tomorrow - they should make the recital available for repeat streaming for a fixed period of time.
(Thanks also to Rolex for making medici's live programming possible)!
