Response from SE desk regarding UPG

I send an email to the SE desk on Fri regarding the upgrade problem i had on Fri at YVR.

I thought I only needed 1??

I got a call from SE desk this morning telling me that in fact I only had to use 1 upgrade certificate from Origin to Destination including connections (24 hrs on an international ticket and 4 hours on domestic and transborder). One does not necessary have to leave on the same day and the next available flight out. He said that a note should have been made on my file to avoid this confusion and he apologized to me. He said he will mail me back an upgrade certificate and will throw in another one as goodwill.
