I should be able to make it.
Wouldn't the nearest subway be Yonge/Eglinton?

Yes, 55 Eg E would be less than a block from the station.

I'll be on a flight to Europe that night

I am still a "maybe" at this time. As said earlier, I'll be back in town already by then (by Jan 2) but still unsure about my availability for that evening.

The nearest intersection should be Yonge & Eglinton. Finch is the terminus station but still quite a distant from Eglinton.

I've been wanting to attend another YYZ Do for a while but the last 3 or 4 have always been on my work week. I only work every other week (ie. I'm off 50% of the time) but these Do's are always on my work week Guess I'm just not meant to attend.

my understanding is people want Friday and weekends off with their family and friends. Therefore the next best date to host this is Thursday (or an occasional Wednesday). Try and make Wednesday or Thursday evening!

Tempting -- I love Fin -- but I'm losing status entirely after this year, and with the volume of postings devoted to eUpgrade credits, I worry that conversation will be a bit one-track...

It cannot be a long conversation especially when we are all in violent agreement!

I am interested in people's travel stories.

the incentive now is that if we can get 12 or more people, we can have a party room to ourselves for a more private discussion
