Another mileage run I don't need! But, oh so many points ...
Booked YYZ-SFO-LAS-SFO-YYZ, so will earn 2754 status miles + 2754 SE bonus + 3000 Extravaganzel bonus = 8508 miles.
Plus I booked myself at the Holiday Inn Flamingo Las Vegas to get a hit in my Crack the Case promo!
$213 all in
To me it was worth it paying a little more to route through SFO and stay at a HI.
Now just waiting for AC to come through with a December upgrade promo so I can use my blue certs!
Now I need to check myself in to rehab. I have a problem.
Booked YYZ-SFO-LAS-SFO-YYZ, so will earn 2754 status miles + 2754 SE bonus + 3000 Extravaganzel bonus = 8508 miles.

Dec.11-12 LAS-DEN-YVR-YYZ (evening/red-eye) (my first ever domestic Canada flight!!!, but 4/6 United flights - hope the ugrades clear!)
$213 all in (staying at the Super 8 - wanted a hotel with airport shuttle, will get a few hours at the Ellis casino next door too)
13142 miles (a one-way North American for future use)... not bad.
Hoping for oversells too!

Oh no, might have booked a week too soon. Last year, December upgrade program didn't start until Dec 12th!

For people thinking about a run:
Just booked a Dec 14, YYC-LAS-SFO-YYC same day turn. Booked it as a flight, then added a $25 hotel at the confirmation page (if you try to book it starting as a package it will reject the dates).
$35.00 / 12 hr MR for ~3820 including the 50% E bonus. Super extra bonus will be if AC put on the Holiday Upgrade Cert deal again, where any cert can upgrade any fare, so that 2 of the legs are in J.

Even without the hotel, that works out to 1.5 cpm!

I can't go...but I made a booking from the cheapest city connecting to Vegas, with a stay at the Bellagio.
I figure that either this will all get cancelled and we'll get vouchers or I can offload the bellagio night on Ebay if they actually go through with it...
