Did you just reach this milestone in the past days?

It takes a maximum of a week for the sweep to recognize early qualification...and I don't know what the cutoff date for early qualification is for 2010.

Don't give up hope...you may still have qualified. Why don't you phone Aeroplan...and see what's up.

Check back on Monday...you might flip to Elite on the website (and can get AC*E on reservations, perhaps blag way into MLL but not *G lounges) even if you have to wait for the card/upgrade certs.

It has been known to happen.

Or, it might not.

Or, maybe they raised E to 50,000 miles without telling us?

Or, you earned your miles fraudelently and they are investigating your accout?

Joking ofcourse.

Yes my qualifying Flight was on October 29th, It just posted last night pushing me above 35K.

Oh well. I will wait and see, but as stated previously, I know Aeroplan is under no obligation to do a late status upgrade.

Flying Werstjet and collecting AE miles is a direct violation of the policy. Members have been banned from this forum for that kind of activity in the past!

just let us know when you're travelling and I'm sure one of us will get you into the lounge even if you are still considered a lowly P by AE, we will treat you as an E.

Actually, if you don't get status right away, you'll get it Jan 1, not in March.

Why not just eating the Elite member. They are still soft and juicy, in contrast to SE types who get awfully tough to chew.

AP seems to have moved from the sweep system this year. I think a bunch of us early Es can attest that the status has been changing instantly when the miles post.

In recent years, new status has become effective very early (first few days) of the new year. If you do a search I'm sure you can find threads about it. You'll know when you get an email inviting you to select your benefits at some point.
