Looking for a discount cde

Hello

I plan on booking anyday now for a NA flight in early December. If someone has an expiring code or a Delta code, I would be most grateful. I don't have much to offer except good karma will come from it.

Regards

Are there discount codes available for fares that are booked over the phone with Air Canada? I have a complex MR coming up that cannot be booked online at aircanada.com, and could sure use any discount I can get. :)

Book on line with your discount code, then call in within 24 hrs to modify your itinerary as you please for free. I've done this many times when the web site did not give me the flights I wanted.

I had a discount code from an IRROP complaint that I tried to use over the phone, they said the codes could only be used on aircanada.com.

This was in Aug 2012 so things may have changed.

In that case, I could use a code valid for travel to Europe, trip to be complete by December 14. :)

A gentle reminder that this thread isn't meant to serve as a substitute for the trading of airline instruments as those transactions are to be done within the Coupon Connection forum which does require a minimum number of posts & time on FT to be eligible to enter. This thread is meant to discuss or request Air Canada discount codes so let's please stick to that thread topic.

Thank you.

Air Canada Discount Code Request and Discussion Thread

Is there a possibility anyone has a expiring discount code!?

Discount Code Newbie needs guidance

I am an absolute newbie about these codes and how to use them.
Having lurked on here for months I have an idea of how things work, but suspect I know far too little!

I have a two-person one-time-use 15% code good until next fall on ac.com and am planning to use it on a circle pacific booking (YVR-NRT-HKG-KUL-MEL-CHC-SYD-YVR) as soon as our dates are decided.

Must these discount codes be used by passengers to book directly on ac.com or can we go through our travel agent (we pay the TA's fee, not AC!) to make the reservations?

We also need to arrange our preferred seat selections which with AC will cost another $480 and are a bit leery about doing this online.

You have to book this online when using any promo code. You can always call up afterwards to the reservation line and they can process the preferred seats for you.

Thank you

Thank you very much philelite; most helpful!

Now I have to convince my better half that it's safe to book online directly with AC, and hope we can reserve the seats we want immediately afterwards with AC reservations.

Zero chance you can use an ac web promo on a circle pacific fare... too many other carriers involved

I have yet to come across a code that can be passed onto a TA to use for booking. I mean, they could DO it for you, but they'd be logging onto AC.com to do the booking then, just as you would do on your own.

Agree with ABG. Any discount I've ever used has been restricted to AC metal legs only. And if your itinerary can't be booked online at AC.com, then your code won't work as it (usually? always?) specifies that the discount is only applicable for bookings done online at AC.com.

But, perhaps there are different types of discount codes out there, and if so maybe it has different rules than what I'm used to seeing. If so, then TemboOne, please enlighten us with what the specifics of the T&Cs of your code.

====

Getting close to the end of the year. I've got a few discount codes that probably won't get used up by the end of this month (the expiry).

They are 10% domestic/15% international discount codes off the BASE fares (not the taxes), and are good for up to 6 pax on the same itinerary, must be booked on AC.com by Dec 31, 2013. Travel to be completed by Jan 31, 2014.

I'm softly holding onto them for extended family members potential flight bookings during XMAS season. Might be persuaded to release them to interested people who will have status next year and can offer the right 'remedy' to release my grip on them (2014 MLL passes). Send me a PM if you need more info.

I've done a dummy run on ac.com already; it works!

The discount code I have is not a web promo but rather a customer service code as a result of a communication with ac management.

I have tried this with a dummy reservation and it works except on the YQ.

Actually the trip I am planning is not 100% circle pacific booking through ac, but most legs are!

Essentially the res is YYZ-HKG-SIN / AKL-SYD-YVR-YYZ with AC being the carrier YYZ-HKG and SYD-YYZ. The only other carriers on the res are SQ HKG-SIN and NZ AKL-SYD.

While I have to keep costs as low as possible I also need to see if changing up from Tango to Flex for 100% AQM is worthwhile.

I have to purchase a separate flight SIN-AKL either direct with Jetstar (SQ is overpriced for SIN-AKL ow!) or via MEL with QF. For this I am on my own; no AC involvement.

My only concern with the web booking online with ac is that there's no provision to break the AKL-YVR leg in SYD for a few days rather than an immediate connection from NZ to AC34.
