AC flyers should know what I'm talking about. Especially AC Jazz flyers.

Led Zeppelin has a song called Dazed & Confused so maybe it's a play on words.

Don't forget Rapidair.

I agree it's a reference to the Led Zeppelin song.

And they're pretty good chips, too! I always ask for a second bag.

Or more likely, the movie by the same name:

http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0106677/

AC's allergy & nutrition profile page shows the snacks as made by Krispy Kernels though there's no listing of the corn chip on the firms website except to note the do supply institutional clients in the transportation industry. One who is curious enough could of course always write them an email to see if they'd share more about the name of the little snack packs.

It's definitely Krispy Kernels.... they've made all of the Y snacks as long as I can remember. Even the precursor(s) to the existing amaizing offering!

(Can't say they are my favourite, TBH.. not as good as the J ones obviously!)

Krispy Kernels has always concerned me. I once purchased a bag of sunflower seeds from them.

Who knew you needed so many chemicals to make sunflower seads...

I quite like the Maized and Confused snack. Jazz's Rocket Chips are excellent as well.

Low standards here.

I like 'em, most flights do not have gluten free snacks.

why would the movie reference be more likely ?

surely the fact the zeppelin song predates the film and the relative obscurity of the linklater's '93 indie film vs. the huge critical and commercial success enjoyed by zeppelin and their cultural relevance even to this day would point to the zeppelin reference being more likely. no ?

case in point, i still listen to the zeppelin catalogue and can sing every line of "Dazed and Confused " but never rewatched the movie nor can I remember one single plot point or line of dialogue.
