YYZ International is pretty nice. YEG is pretty nice as well (Comfy chairs...).

Of the 8 MLL's I've been to, I prefer:

YVR Transborder (like the views, aesthetics and big shower)
YYZ International (for all the reasons listed by other posters)
YYZ Domestic (fairly similar to YYZ Intl)
YEG (Nice small lounge... like the fire place)

While I think AC's done a good job of standardizing the offerings at its major lounges, I will say that the one that doesn't stand out for me is YYC. I don't like how despite YYC being an 'AC hub' there is no shower and I prefer the lighter, fresher aesthetic of YYZ Intl and YVR Transborder to the darker motifs of YYC.

As a non AC frequent flyer, does anyone know if a transborder J ticket gets access to the MLL?

Yes provided you are flying AC.

Moncton must get a lot of military, private or courier traffic that Regina doesn't get, but Regina must have either more or much larger passenger service.

Saskatoon has more traffic than Regina but no MLL; I imagine they'll get one before Moncton.
Assuming MLL's are put in place to service departing Air Canada status and J pax only, total movements or total pax isn't a good measure. Only AC business matters I would think. To satisfy my curiosity on this, I did some # crunching. Assuming today is a typical day, the noted contenders stack up as follows:

YYJ - Total AC capacity - 1,273 possible pax; 28 possible J pax
YQR - Total AC capacity - 636 possible pax; 18 possible J pax
YXE - Total AC capacity - 573; possible pax; 27 possible J pax
YQM - Total AC capacity - 573; possible pax; 40 possible J pax

Looks like YYJ would be the winner; the others are close contenders it would seem.

It should get you access no matter which *A airline you are flying provided there is a transborder lounge (i.e. YVR, YYZ, YUL). In the lounge I don't think you'll get free Internet access unless you are flying AC.

The weekend isn't the best time to gauge demand/pax numbers (as there are a few fewer flights).

This is what I can see for Monday, 26 July:

YYJ - 1,391 possible pax. 42 possible J
YXE - 1,047 possible pax. 46 possible J
YQR - 904 possible pax. 37 possible J
YQM - 697 possible pax. 49 possible J

YQM's numbers may be a little off. AC is running several extra sections into/out of YQM due to the finish of the track and field competition going on there. I didn't include those flights, but am not sure if they were replacing any lower capacity flights.

I think those you posted for YQM are right. I just checked Mondays in late Aug and I get the same #. Oh well, YQM has a bar at least--open for part of the day.
