0700L at YVR Domestic MLL

Hello friends,

Can anyone tell me what the MLL is alike at 7 am in the morning, what type of food or drink is offered ? Am traveling this weekend but not sure if I need to bring any food with me.

Much appreciate your input!

On weekdays, it's pretty busy but I'm guessing it's a little less so on the weekend. However, the summer season always brings in a glut of families and children to the MLL.

You've got the normal toast, cereal, and fruit. There are a couple of coffee machines and milk/OJ is offered. The non-alcoholic freezer is open so there's more choice for other juices, pop, etc.

The MLL is not intended to be a restaurant so you're not going to see any major food offerings.

If it's like the MLL's in YUL, YOW and YYZ, you should be able to find yoghurt, fruit salad, and fresh fruit (apples and sometimes bananas).

A word about those bulk containers... the "valves" for filling the bowls don't work so well with the flake type cereals. (Maybe a fluid dynamics specialist should be called in.) The most efficient way to fill your bowl is to lift the top off the hopper, and scoop.

It's been a while since I've done a morning flight. They used to have Kellogg's cereals in the little individual boxes. Have these been replaced by the bulk containers now?

They have in YYZ Intl MLL, but not in YOW. Still had boxes last time I was there in the morning. When heading to BGI, I have my toast and coffee in YOW, and my cereal and yoghurt, and another coffee, in YYZ.
