Toronto-Munich on AC Planes
 

Effective June 5, 2000, Air Canada and Lufthansa German Airlines will commence daily non-stop service between Toronto and Munich. Flights on the new route will be operated with Air Canada Boeing 767-200 aircraft.

AC846 (LH6845) will leave Toronto at 1925 and will arrive in Munich at 0930. From Munich, flight AC847 (LH6844) will depart at 1145 and will arrive in Toronto at 1440.

This will be good for those connecting on to some of Lufthansa's other partners (e.g. Qatar Airways) that do not fly out of Frankfurt.

That FRA connection on AC-LH was always a pain especially around Octoberfest.
Always way oversold to Munich from FRA.

Maybe this calls for a mini-PiP for us Canadian-based webtalkers during Octoberfest? Something to talk about in Montreal...

This service did start this week.

Air Canada flight AC846/LH6845 leaves Toronto at 1925 and arrives in Munich at 0930.
From Munich, flight AC847/LH6844 departs at 1145 and arrives in Toronto at 1440.

Double bonus miles to August 31!
