I was able to solve this by calling AC - A BIG THANKYOU TO VICKI IN TORONTO RESERVATIONS - but they had to do it manually. They're looking into the problem, so I hope to see it resolved shortly.

Why can't I book this - its only 27th August , 1130pm YVR time and the above states that its valid till 28th August 1159pm from my city of departure.

When I click on the offer (from the email AC sent me) , I am lead to a webpage that says :
But now I realise that it works when I don't go via email link but direct and put the promo code in on aircanada.com, it then works.

Kind of funny that Porter finally figured out Air Canada's weakness --> agility.

Almost all of Porter's 30% off sales have been matched by Air Canada and most of them have a fixed time period of a few days or even weeks.

Recently, I've noticed Porter is offering 30% off for one day only. Air Canada can't seem to act fast enough (or perhaps can't be bothered) to match these 24 hour sales.
