I will have all the segments I need to hit Elite by next Tuesday, with one hitch...I had a segment that did not post correctly when I was moved onto an earlier flight in the wrong fare class, even though this was corrected by AC at a later date and when I look on the AP sight it shows one less segment than I have flown. I spoke to someone at AP who indicated that when the system does the "sweep" it usually picks up anyone that is close to be manually checked to see if any segments aren't showing up and that I shouldn't worry about it, I will get the early recognition. Well I'm sitting in the YYZ domestic lounge right now on a pass and I can say with 100% confidence that I don't want to go back to sitting in the terminal waiting for my plane...should I keep calling them after the end of next week to make sure that I get recognition?

Anyone have any previous experience similar to this?

I"ve had them manually add a segment that posted within 24hrs before.. You have pretty much all month to qualify for early recognition.. I'm sure you'll be fine.

I highly doubt they do a "manual check" but you can always call them again after the weekend if nothing is showing.
