10 days in Ghana!! What to do and see?
im probably going to travel to ghana in mid november with abt 4 to 5 friends. a teammate from my friend is from ghana and he is offering us his home, i think in a wealthy suburb out of accra. i really would love to go, but i have some concerns abt ghana itself.
how safe is it to travel? he is even offering us his cars to get around.
we would like to go to beaches, getting out at night, get good local and intl. food etc.
any help is deeply appreciated.

Plenty to do and see in Ghana for 7-10 days.
Accra has a vibrant nightlife but as an "obroni" (foreigner of visibly different appearance) you will be targets for the hustlers, nightfighters and conmen.
Violent crime does exist, but no more so than in any urban environment.
Traffic in the city can be horrible if you travel on main roads at peak periods, but a good local driver can always find a way through the back lanes.
