Getting to SSH from CAI
Has anyone tried MS? Are they ok? Is there any other way to get over to SSH that you guys could recommend?
|
Flew SSH - CAI with MS in a whY a few years ago. Booked in expedia, roughly £100 return (rip-off!). Flight lightly loaded, very short - 55 mins or so in the air. Economy pitch was fine, fruit juice and a cake-thing each way.
Had to pick up an ex-CAI OWE ticket and in my experience the worse part about the whole CAI experience was getting from the domestic, to the international terminal. All-in-all, not too bad an experience - could have been far worse. Definitely more comfortable than getting the bus which takes an eternity. |

That was quite a long time ago mind you. bjorns |
RJ fly from AMM-SSH.
That's really the only other alternative apart from UK charter flights. If you are starting in CAI, however, your choice is pretty much limited to MS, although they are a perfectly acceptable carrier and you'll probably find that the J fare is not much more than the Y fare. |
MS fine for domestic flights (and international too if you're looking for a bargain). Remember they're now in the Star Alliance.
Regarding the comment about CAI terminal transfers check out this thread as MS is in the process of transferring its flights to the brand new T3: http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/other...tommorrow.html |
