I'm leaving for Uganda next week for 2 1/2 months to volunteer at a med clinic on the White Nile.
What suggestions do you have for safeguarding money and how to carry it. I will have some cash and travelers checks and any advice would be appreciated.
I also have a 6 hour layover in Dubai and am looking for suggestions on what to see besides the big mall and ski resort. Is there any special place to buy gold jewelry in town?
