cape town helicopters

Any advice on worth and any recommended flights - all the way to the cape, two oceans or just the quick tour? The Oyster and mussel lunch looked good but pricey.

Myself and three others in my family (two of whom were kids about 10 years old) were gifted a brief "Hopper Tour" with this operation. nachelicopterscapetown.com It was V&A Waterfront over City bowl, Green Point Camps Bay and 12 Apostles. 3 pax in the rear of the helicopter, 1 pax in the front (in what I would call the copilot seat) and the pilot. As someone who has regularly visited CPT it was a nifty "look" at things. I think you're probably overspending for a longer trip but for the "tour" aspect of it, we found it fun. The pilot was a younger guy who gave all sorts of little tidbits to us that we frankly never knew as we flew along (one of used to live in Camps Bay so there were some fun facts there) the kid in the front copilot seat had a blast being "upfront." Fun. Definitely. A splurge? Sure (again, it was gifted to us). But nifty. Everyone enjoyed it.
