Morocco and Covid

Looking for some local insight as to current Covid impacts on Marrakech. Am considering this as an option for an early June trip, with Morocco touted as a good candidate for the UK's "green list". Would be staying at the four seasons as usual.

How is the city in terms of crowding, masks, openings, restrictions etc?

Thanks in advance.

as we live in marocco and recently visit maraks i can give you some information
Mask
obligatory in Malls and hotels
officially its recommended on the street including safe distance but in practice .......
eveningclock from 20.00 till 06.00 very strict
so is closing restaurants and so on
But because Ramadan And fest of the end of Ramadan its more strict
After 15 mai it wiil become more free depending the numbers of covit off course
They are a litle bit higher now between 500 and 700 daily.
Marocco needs more vaccins to continu their vaccination program .
We visit maraks end of mai and will stay in four seasons too
any info needed no problem

This is very helpful information. Any further knowledge on moving around the country? I'm looking at early June flight into RAK, then to FEZ for a few days, then a return to the US, possibly out of CMN. Thank you for the timely update.

thanks
i recommend a rental car organized by fourseasons
since Menara would become more busy a fasttrack and shutle should be handy
We are not so happy with waiting and absolutely not happy about Menara taxidrivers ,but propably you allready know about it !
Our situation is a bit different from yours because we have proof of vaccination and residence card .
Possible is that you need a paper wich gives you permission to travel between citys but things wiil be different before your arrival .
Do you have any experience in driving in maroc ?
covid is now stabilizing round 500
greetings cornelis

Looks like Morocco has dropped the testing requirement but still mentions a health passport on their website, but also a form. Is there a passport of some kind to register for? American CDC card ok?

Anyone have updates on the COVID situation on the ground -- stats look ok right now. How are restaurants and others handling?

Thanks.
