Tanzania - Visa on Arrival

Flying into Zanzibar in 4 weeks time & I see I need a visa. Having tried over the weekend to use the eVisa it seems to be a nightmare of a system to use & reading comments elsewhere is not the best. I assume getting the visa on arrival is relatively straightforward?

Anyone done it recently to confirm?

Me and 6 friends did Visa on Arrival in DAR in September, it was quick, just make sure you have a $100 USD, they were not taking Credit Card or any other currency for the fee.

Tanzania - Visa on Arrival

When presenting US Dollars at Immigration, best if $100's or $50's, and ensure they are 2009 or newer, undamaged, and in good condition.

Took me about 5 minutes two years ago, with an Irish passport.
