Republic of Congo and surrounding area
Does anyone have advice on getting a Congo-Brazzaville visa as an American? It is not clear if an online booking of a hotel is enough or if we need something notarized from Congo.
Also looking as route suggestions. My basic thought is to fly into Malabo (E.G.) or Sao Tome, then to Gabon, Brazzaville and either fly home from Angola or Namibia. We've been to DRC but only Goma in the east. This would be for 4-5 weeks in August or early September. Thanks. |
I would fly KQ, or if AT joins OW by then, then AT. Much easier that way and no transit visas required. No visa at all for Morocco and you get get a $20 72h visa for Kenya if you want to visit for a day or two. KQ has a direct flight from JFK and from there it's a 3h hop to BZV.
French get visas in Paris. Americans should go to this site I would guess. Embassy of the Republic of Congo in Washington DC > Home |
Sao Tome is amazing.
