Letter of Invitation needed for Algerian tourism visa?
 

I see conflicting information. Some say you need a notarized LOI, others say you only need confirmation of hotel reservation. Which is it? I have a confirmed hotel reservation at the Sofitel, but the useless staff there refuse to answer phone calls or emails and provide a LOI.
