Addis Ababa new terminal
 

I've read that the first phase of the terminal extension has been opened. The only details I know is that it's the East Wing - but nothing about what it houses. Has anyone experienced it? Is it going to make any difference to an economy passenger in transit with EA?

Have you noticed the recently launched ADD thread in the sticky part upthere?

Ah, thank you - my mistake. When I glanced at the subjects following the sticky's title before posting, I missed that it said facilities, only noticing the connections etc.

Nothing new was open as of a week ago and didn't look like anything was close to being ready either.

Thanks for the info, B747. Looks like it's just the VIP suite that's opened then. It was too much to hope that something would be open to make my six hour layover less painful!
