Marrakesh for 2-3 days
 
Been think about a short trip to RAK for awhile now, not a TPR, but wondered if it’s worthwhile for only 3 or so days?

I think it's an LGW route, unless something has changed?

But to answer your question, yes, 2/3 nights is long enough to see the souks...

Yes 3 nights is just OK, if you can pick flights to maximise your time there. If the flight times are better for a 4 night stay, go for that.

It has! It’s a LGW and LHR route for the winter timetable. There’s more to Marrakesh than just souks.

Its going to be a surf trip, so likely to move to Agadir straight off the plane. Does anyone have any advice to making the transfer?

I will be carrying a surfboard bag, so trains / local buses might not be ideal. Ive been quoted 100 pounds each-way, for a shared taxi. Does that should right?

Not to hijack, but is it silly to do 1 full day in each RAK and FEZ? We're going to end up having 3 full days in Morocco, and 3 days seems too much for either of them alone. And it's only an hour flight between them on Air Arabia. Thanks

Due to a member of the group missing his morning flight, we were forced to spend the whole day in Marrakesh. For me, that was more than a lifetimes worth.

On the return it seems to take the best part of a day to get through RAK airport - a glitzy new emporium with empty shops because everyone is stuck filling in forms for bored officials on go slow. Ruined what would have been a delightful three day trip.
