SA Vodacom topoff issue
 

Bought a SIM and loaded some data on it. It was down to about a gig left and I got a text that if you download the app they will double your next purchased data. Good deal as I was going to be in some places without internet. Bought a 5 gig + 5 free. I noticed that they started deducting data from the "bonus" rather than the first purchased. I assumed they would use data from that which would expire the soonest but apparently "bonus" data gets used first and now I'll lose the remaining data I first purchased. A bit of a scam I think. Wait until data is almost nil before purchasing and "bonus".
