Odd. Aer Lingus has a new lounge in terminal 2. That space looks a bit like it could be the old T1 Aer Lingus lounge, so I'd expect it to replace the DAA lounge. Although, that was done up at about the same time. Still the more likely one I think...

I'd agree, it looks very much like the old DAA lounge. In any case that picture is not exactly rocking the boat when it comes to lounge design.

So, they uploaded a more detailed story to their website. Looks like a concept for a premium lounge product, rather than one for any particular airline.

Curious references to "Pier 4". Still looks like the space upstairs in Pier C.

That lounge will be for after pre check for American based flights.

All airlines will be using it.

The architects, MCA Architects, claim it will be completed by 12 May.

It seems clear that this is the new USPC lounge.

The new F lounge in AUH has been "coming" for what feels like an eternity...

I think Pier 4 probably refers to the 400 gates in Terminal 2 (as per hints here: http://www.3ddesignbureau.com/news/new-lounge-at-dublin-airport-unveiled/).

I'm going to cross my fingers that the lounge becomes accessible with Priority Pass when it is open.

Hopefully completed on time! When I got through USPC last year it was a pretty horrible experience.

Supposed to be early July but they may phase it in end of June subject to conditions.
