Has anyone been on Aer lingus' Premier class before?? We will be flying it later this week to Ireland, so just want to know what to expect??

Thanks, Helen

Larger seat then coach, slightly better food then coach, real china vs. plastic plates in coach, and a newspaper. That is about it. If it is not too late, change to DL, Biz/Elite on DL is the best out there at this time. Also, DL has a real FF program, TAB is very stingy. You can get AA miles for your flight as well.

JRF was right!! Our flight to Shannon and back to LAX was not bad, but of course premier class is a bit below our experience w/ other airline's business class level. Food is not bad, but two seat's individual video set were not working (mine was one), and our connection flight to London on its short flight premier class was no-way premier. The seat was barely a bit larger than econ and on a way we were sat on the right side, which are 3 seat a row!!

Okey, no more Air Lingus for us!!

it sounds like you can do better than Lingus on the transatlantic flight, but a lot of business class flights within Europe are like you describe.
