Privilege Style EC - NZJ operating for Aer Lingus review
An eventful day at DUB . I was on the EI flight operated by Privilege Style. Despite negatives about some of their aircraft this aircraft was not bad . A Former Virgin Australia .
Boarding delayed by 45 mins as Aer Lingus dispatcher never turned up. Gate agent was left on her own and Privilege crew would not let boarding commence until the dispatcher turned up. Crew were not very happy . Finally boarded gate agent was very professional given the circumstances . Crew were very welcoming and friendly.
We missed our slot then DUB ATC suspended operations for nearly an hour . We sat at gate but crew did come around with cups of water . Finally took off nearly 2 hours late .
Member of EI cabin crew onboard had a boarding pass so booked as a passenger but did a welcome announcement after the Privilege crew . Also helped with Bia service and duty free sales .
J seats were nice a bit worn but comfortable. Touch screen seat controls broken so no recline. IFE quite good but no headphones . Their wifi IFE was also good if you had your own headphones for phone or tablet . Moving map rarely worked . For ACE and BCN its pleasant but would not want to be on it TATL.

In laws flew out of DUB to ACE on Privilege on this A330 on Wed 27/09 - no food / drink provided, or for sale - 3 1/2 hour delay and cabin crew quite gruff with passengers - does not bode well for self and OH in 4 weeks.
Any idea how long this possible wet lease will last ?

Usually the hire-ins are only during the summer peak, which we are out of now, but without knowing your exact flight dates I couldn't say.
