50% Bonus when you buy AVIOS for you or yourself before 18th May 2020
Not sure if targeted or not but just got an email. Cant amend title should of course read ''50% Bonus when you buy AVIOS for you or someone else before 18th May 2020. ''
Looking to top up the piggy bank or save for a rainy day? Look no further!
Buy Avios for yourself or as a gift for someone else before 18 May 2020*, and we'll treat you to 50% Bonus Avios. What's more, if you've already bought Avios with us this year, we will reset your limit - so you can buy up to 200,000 Avios and get up to 100,000 Bonus Avios on top.
And because your Avios don’t expire as long as you collect or spend at least one point every 36 months, you have the flexibility to use them when you choose.

I got a 75% bonus offer due to having the aer credit card. The value for me varies quite a bit from poor value buying avios at ~2 cent per avios at the low end (buying 1k + 750 bonus for 36) to ~1c per avios at the high end (200k +150k bonus for 3601). buying at ~1 cent for avios is pretty good and you should be able to make it work out in your favour. This all assumes there is not a devaluation on the way which will make it harder to get good value for your avios.
I assume the good promos are to boost cash revenues now but there is nothing stopping them from devaluing down the road to whatever extent they wish. Personally I'm not going for it, I have a pretty healthy avios balance as it is an I'm not sure when I'll get the chance to use it as things stand.
