Purchasing liquor during layover

Will be flying from IAD - AMS next spring with a stopover in DUB, with both flights on Aer Lingus. Wanted to ask if I was to purchased a Bottle of liquor at a duty free shop during my layover in Dublin, will I be able to carry it in my connecting flight to Amsterdam?

You won't get duty free in Dublin as your boarding card will read DUB-AMS

Purchase in IAD or on board get it in a sealed bag

Anything purchased in Dublin airside can be carried onboard

As the previous poster has noted, by the time you reach Dublin your window for "duty free" will have closed.

You can buy in Dublin, of course, but it won't be a duty free price.

Buy on board or prior to your transatlantic flight.
