Fare class of Avios ticket
 

If I use my avios to 'purchase' a ticket, FCO-DUB, what fare class is it issued in?
My main interest is does it include baggage?

Yes baggage is included. Seat selection is not AFAIK

is there a phone number to call to add seats? (not 1850/1890 but a real number?)

I call the (800) 474-7424 reservations number to get seat assignments, but the "Contact Us" page also lists (516) 622-4222 as a number for reservations.

If you pay with Avios a 23KG checked allowance is included per person. Seat selection seems varied, there are mixed reports. You booking confirmation should have an Aer Lingus PNR included within - it will start with a 2. IF you ring the usual Aer Lingus reservations number they will be able to find your booking and advise you on assigned seats.

You pay for seats with your credit card over the phone with Aer Lingus reservations. There is no free seat selection included in AVIOS redemptions on European product.
