Looking on another site in recent days, Aer Lingus appeared to have a shortage of crew. It didn't confirm whether it was cabin or flight deck crew, but flights were delayed overnight, and two HiFly (From Malta - on a A330 and an A343-5) and a Titan Airways (UK - 767-300) were used to run flights along with one of the ASL Ireland 757-200's sent to Dublin to help out.
Never seen this before on this scale, where disruption for 2/3 days on EI longhaul

Any insider info. (just curious!!)

This ties in with another thread on an newark cancellation (which was less specific)
