Aer Lingus concierge upgrade availability

Aer Lingus concierge upgrade availability

Hi. Does anyone know what the rules are for availability for upgrades? Is it just if thereís any space in business or do they only release so many for upgrades? Iíve just tried to use them and they said itís down to the revenue department and Iíll find out Monday.

They allocate so many per flight and after that depending on status they will send a request to revenue management to see if they will release one. In your case due to Concierge you will get priority if it can be done.

Thanks a lot. The outbound flight there's no one else in business, I bought one full price to get the companion ticket, mine was the only seat so I guess I'll get the upgrades and the companion. Inbound had 3 others in business already though, just hope that's not them all gone.

Put the request in and chase up a week later and then 5 days before travel.

I've been told all allocated space is gone, but then discover the person next to me also used there voucher and got the upgrade at the last minute.

If there is space you will get upgraded but its not something that will confirm until very close to travel

Iím not flying till August 2019, but they told me theyíd requested it and Iíll find out Monday. Good to know you can keep trying though, thanks a lot.
