Lounge Access on Arrival From ORD

Hi,

I'm flying ORD-DUB in business class, then connecting to EDI on a separate ticket (not booked yet, so may be Aer Lingus, may be Ryanair).

I've done this route before, but connected straight through, and had access to the lounge.
Would I, given that my business fare ends in DUB, have lounge access anywhere? Even if it's just shower access at some sort of arrivals lounge?
Obviously I'd prefer to get a shower AND sit in a lounge for my entire waiting time (which will be longer than normal, as it won't be a protected transfer) but I'll make do with just a shower if need be.

Thanks in advance

If flying Aer Lingus onward you have access to the main Aer Lingus lounge on production of the boarding card from ORD

If you fly Ryanair, you cannot use flight connections (Ryanair isn't a connecting airline and doesn't pay the airport for the service), exit into the baggage hall, arrivals lounge on the right side, but you then have to march over the Terminal 1 and walk possibly the whole way to the 100 gates which is the longest possible walk at the airport

Both lounges have showers

I'm actually at the lounge in DUB right now. I booked SEA-DUB and DUB-LIS on two separate tickets. The check-in agent at SEA tagged my bags to LIS and provided both BPs. Upon arrival into DUB, I provided the lounge attendants both of my BPs and they just looked at it, jotted down my connecting flight on a piece of paper, then invited me in.

Not sure how nice the showers are at the PP lounge next door but the showers here were pretty awful.

Nice one, thanks to you both for the info.

If you take the Ryanair option you'll still have access to the arrivals lounge "Revival Lounge" in DUB as you're travelling on a business ticket.

Its very basic, you wouldn't hang out there. Only useful if you want a shower. The showers here are actually better than in the main Aer Lingus lounge.

Just as an update, I decided to visit the PP lounge later and it's horrible. I can't imagine their showers being better than the EI's.
